FAQ

  • Do you teach art classes?
I am offering 1 on 1 and group based art sessions through my site, http://www.artbehaviortherapy.com. This is where I offer both non-clinical and clinical art classes!
  • How do you use art to provide therapy?
I use art as a tool, within my practice as a Behavior Therapist to work towards important goals the learner has set. This can be to improve our mindfulness, reduce stress, build important skills such as self-regulation and expression, or communication.
  • Who do you provide therapy to?
I provide Art-based behavior therapy to all ages. Learn more at http://www.artbehaviortherapy.com
  • Do you practice Art Therapy?
In summary, yes. Technically, the answer is a bit complicated. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and therapist, I work in Behavior Therapy. This is done with Art as a tool. So while I offer therapy within the scope of Behavior Analysis, I am not a psychotherapist who uses Art. These may seem like the same thing, but I am not certified by any Art Therapy Boards. I only practice Behavior Therapy methods, using art. You can learn more about this at my website: http://www.artbehaviortherapy.com
